| Principal Hong Kong Economic
and Trade Representative, Miss Cheung Man-yee, and all the keynote speakers
at the "Hong Kong-Asia's Premier International City" business
seminar held in Sendai on 16 February, 2000 proposed a toast to the audience
at a reception following the seminar. The seminar, which is the first
of its kind organised in Sendai by Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office,
aims to promote a better understanding on what Hong Kong can offer as
a premier international city in terms of trade and tourism. Some 400 business
executives and officials from the Miyagi Prefecture attended the seminar.
