Tokyo ETO participates in JASSO Study Abroad Fair 2026

Promoting advantages of studying in Hong Kong

July 25, 2026

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Tokyo (Tokyo ETO) participated for the first time in the JASSO Study Abroad Fair 2026, held on July 25 at Ochanomizu Sola City Conference Center in Tokyo. During the event, Tokyo ETO promoted the benefits of studying in Hong Kong to university and high school students in Japan.

Organised annually by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), the fair brings together official institutions, including embassies and government agencies, from around the world. This year's event featured exhibitors from 27 countries and regions across Europe, North America, Asia and beyond.

At its booth and seminar, ETO Tokyo introduced Hong Kong's vision for developing into an international higher education hub, highlighting its world-class universities, diverse academic programmes and scholarship opportunities. A current student from Japan also shared first-hand insights into campus life, Hong Kong's vibrant and multicultural society, and career prospects after graduation, giving visitors a realistic picture of why Hong Kong is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for higher education.
